Mokoena Africa Group asked for an identity that would hold its own in boardrooms and on warehouse walls alike. The answer is radical restraint.
The mark is an interlocking geometric monogram, M-forms woven together like basketwork, set beside a wide-tracked wordmark. The palette is strictly monochrome: charcoal, white and deep black, specified down to Pantone, RAL and print tolerances.
The guidelines do the quiet work that keeps a brand sharp for years: safe-space construction, minimum sizes for print and screen, background rules from pure white to pure black, and a full misuse sheet. Nothing decorative, everything deliberate.
“Radical restraint, specified to the millimetre.”
